About this service
Transmission control modules make their decisions from sensor data. When an input or output speed sensor drifts, the module sees a slip that isn't there and either commands a harsh correction or drops the car into limp mode.
We test sensors against live data and their specified ranges rather than replacing them on suspicion, and we check the connectors and grounds at the same time. A corroded pin gives the same reading as a dead sensor.
