About this service
A warning light is a starting point, not a diagnosis. Our diagnostic equipment reads stored and pending fault codes plus live data, line pressure, solenoid duty, input and output shaft speeds, fluid temperature. So we can see what the transmission is actually doing under load.
That matters because a great many 'gearbox failures' turn out to be a failed speed sensor, a broken wire or an engine fault confusing the transmission control module. We would much rather find you a RM200 sensor than sell you a rebuild you didn't need.
