Most automatic transmissions we rebuild did not fail from a manufacturing defect; they failed from fluid that was never changed. ATF breaks down with heat, and Klang Valley traffic is about the hardest environment there is for it.
We drain, replace the filter and pan gasket where fitted, refill with the correct specification fluid, and set the level at operating temperature, which on most modern units is the only way to get it right. We'll also advise the interval that suits how you actually drive.
